Back in 2015 I started my first business and a few years in, I experienced complex health issues and burnout crept in (like it does for so many business owners). I started looking for a retreat to reset, but the search process was overwhelming — scrolling through Google, calling retreat centres, comparing prices and inclusions and dates. It was messy.

The Good Index came to life in 2020. Today it's a worldwide retreat marketplace helping people browse, book, and retreat with ease.

Seven years of running my wellness gifting company taught me how to build something from nothing but an idea and a whole lot of determination. I wore every hat — operations, marketing, shipping orders late at night — and turned a startup into a brand with loyal customers, retail partnerships, and a heart-centred mission.
Selling it wasn't a goodbye. It was a beginning. The lessons fuel how I support other founders today: with empathy, experience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build something meaningful, and let it go when the time is right.
